Special Holiday Offer for 2012 VIP Bus!

November 15, 2011

We all know that rally is a year-long sport, but with the New England Forest Rally taking place in the heat of July, it can be easy to forget about the event while you’re planning for turkey dinners, visits with in-laws and holiday shopping lists.

Well, those of us involved in organizing the event are out straight already planning for the event, and planning to make it even better for all involved next year.  And we’ve come up with a holiday offer for you (thought we’d try to help you out with those aforementioned holiday lists) that is good now through December 15!

You can find all of the details by clicking on the VIP Bus web page, but in addition to the gourmet food, best viewing spots, great company and ease of traveling that riding the VIP bus affords, our holiday offer includes an early bird discount, a 2012 metal rally plate and a 2012 worker’s polo shirt (both of which we’ll get to you at the rally – we’re not quite ready to order those yet!), all packaged in a festive gift certificate and envelope so that all you have to do is give, and receive the gift of gratitude in return…

Tickets for the VIP Bus make a unique and exciting gift for the rally lover, auto enthusiast, race fan (or, if you’re a rally competitor – the sponsor!) in your life.

Be sure to purchase your tickets no later than December 15, 2011 – after that, our prices go up and you won’t be able to buy the plates or shirts!

The 2011 New England Forest Rally Spectator Guide can now be viewed online!  Check out this link to open the guide and familiarize with what’s going on this year.

We’ll be posting new updates and news regularly now through the rally, so keep checking in with us.  And don’t forget to connect with us on Facebook and Twitter if you haven’t already!

The Mt. Washington Hillclimb, known as the “Climb to the Clouds,” is making a comeback this weekend after a nearly ten year hiatus. The event will be a 3-day festival of motorsports with a 71-car competition field filled with some of the best drivers and cars from around the world competing for “King of the Hill” honors. Check out Travis Pastrana’s record setting hillclimb in September 2010 for inspiration.

The entry list includes past course record holders, former and current rally champions, high-powered open-wheel cars, a vintage class filled with cars steeped in motorsports history and a first for the event; a purpose-built race-truck! Several local and veteran New England Forest Rally competitors will be competing including current Rally America points leader David Higgins and local rally drivers John Cassidy and Tim O’Neil.

Organized by Vermont SportsCar and sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of New Hampshire, the 2011 Mt. Washington Hillclimb will serve as one of several sporting events to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Mt. Washington Auto Road.

There will be live music, fireworks, a beer garden and plenty of great spectator options over the course of the weekend.

Event Dates: June 24-26
Location: The Mt. Washington Auto Rd, Pinkham Notch / New Hampshire
Tickets are available online at a discount: www.climbtotheclouds.com

Be sure to drop by New England Forest Rally’s booth at the event! If you’re interested in volunteering at the booth, contact Jessyca at jessyca@alignpartnerships.com

To all TON Rally fans, racers, and participants, please read the following:

Due to a very long and snowy winter season we regret to inform you of the postponement of the Team O’Neil Rally.

Expected road maintenance costs due to the late snow and coming mud season within the town and adjoining landowner’s properties has required us to look forward to hosting the rally later in the year.

The Team O’Neil Rally appreciates your understanding of what nature throws our way and more importantly appreciates your long standing past support of the event.

Please check back here regularly, where we will post updates on the rally.  Meanwhile, don’t forget to begin making your plans to be a part of the New England Forest Rally this year, July 15-16.
